4.0 out of 5 stars The only tub to buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't get anything else!!, August 10, 2003

A friend of mine suggested this tub because of the "hammock feature." Your baby is cradled in a "hammock" that attaches to the tub, making it super easy to bathe your newborn. The pads in the tub are soft and they are mold-resistant. It fits in any sink you put it in, single or double, and it will save your back, not having to bend over your own bathtub. I also like how it has a built in bath caddy to put baby's shampoo/soap/toys/washcloths whatever. My only two complaints are that the plug DOES NOT change color when water is too hot. When we used those little floating rubber ducks that have the word HOT on the bottom that turn white when the water is too hot, the plug didn't turn white. One day I filled it with scalding hot water (without my baby in it, of course) to see if it would change color and it didn't. I guess it doesn't matter anyway since you should ALWAYS check the water temp before putting your little one in it, but I thought it would have been a cool... Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Top Tub, July 30, 2003
This review is from: The First Year's Infant To Toddler Tub with Sling, Blue (Baby Product)
The included sling was perfect when my baby was newborn, the inclined side was great from 2 to 5 months and now that he's 5 months and sits up with support, the seat side works great, too.

Lots of room for my 27" inch long baby to kick and splash (I just started putting the tub on the kitchen floor with a towel underneath and let him splash as much as he wants). It fit great in our single sink when he was smaller, too.

The insides and edges are smooth, and the "spongy" pads inside help with slippage; I keep my hands on the baby at all times, but when you're rinsing a wiggly baby's hair, holding on to him one-handed, you'll appreciate this feature.

I only wish the "fresh water" basin was bigger or that there were 2, one at each end.

5.0 out of 5 stars perfect!, October 1, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: The First Year's Infant To Toddler Tub with Sling, Blue (Baby Product)
I wasn't sure when I was looking at tubs, but I'm glad I got this one. I used the sling for the first 2 weeks to sponge bath my 5 pound preemie, and despite his size, I felt that he was very secure, he stayed put. For those a little nervous about bathing a baby at first, (like my hubby) the sling is adjustable, so you can loosen it add a little more water, and use it for a regular bath. The drain plug warns if the water is too hot, which again is good for the nervous new parent. Now 2 months old, I use the infant, slanted seat side, and it works well for us. the padding reduces slipping. I also like the space to hold clean rinse water or bath supplies. The only thing they may want to add is a hook to hang this to dry, which some have. Otherwise, it's perfect and cheap. Some may be attracted to a few tubs that are bigger, but I think the size is perfect. It's roomy enough but not so big that the baby can "escape", or to mane the baby feel insecure. It's also easier to store than those... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Lots of Different Ways to Throw a Bendy Ball, October 3, 2009
By

This review is from: Baby Einstein Bendy Ball (Baby Product)
My twin 9-month olds, like all babies of that age, love to show when they're displeased by throwing something. When they try that with the Bendy Ball, most of the time they forget why they got upset.

This cute thing can be bent while holding and you can put your fingers inside it. Plus the ball inside that you can't quite get out has a little ball inside it that sounds like a bell almost. If you want to throw it to show your displeasure at something, you'll end up putting your fingers into it first. Those distractions are priceless.

By the time baby finally rolls this ball, it is with a positive frame of mind, and she wants it back to try again.
I can see that this durable little toy is going to be used in many ways and constantly. It's a lot of fun to roll their way and see how they try to figure out what to do with it.

Beyond that, the colors are great. The 5 outer caterpillar parts on diameter are cute. I think this is an... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars My four month old loves it!, June 7, 2009

A mom in my group had a similar one of these for her baby who just loved it. So when we were walking through the baby aisles at Target, we saw this one and just put it in the stroller with our baby to see if he would like it--and he played with it the entire time! So, of course, we bought it!

He has many other rattle-type toys meant for grabbing, but this is the first one he has actually grabbed on to and played with. It is very sturdy and actually a little heavier than I anticipated by just looking at it--I was worried it might be too heavy for him to pick up (since we had never really seen him pick up anything before) but he manages with no problems!

5.0 out of 5 stars Love these washcloths for cleaning baby's bottom!!, December 12, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
I needed small washcloths to clean my LO's bottom for cleaning up during diaper changes. I thought the 100% cotton ones couldn't be beat (from the spa silk towel and washcloth set), then I purchased a set of these to try out. LOVE THEM!!! These are great for cleaning baby's bottom - use a wipe to get the major stuff, then use these washcloths (soaked in warm water and wrung out) to get the detailed work done. The are small and thin enough to get in the nooks and crannies, but absorbent enough to retain enough moisture to be effective. They have a soft side and a "rougher" side. Terrific. I'll probably eventually start using in the bath, but they are terrific for diaper changes right now. I purchased two more packs to make sure I have enough on hand. Well worth it for my use! Highly recommended for this use!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best baby wipes ever, May 21, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
I just purchased these simple wash cloths based on previous reviews from those using them as baby bottom wipes. Previously I was using homemade flannel wipes which I found to hold too much water and I constantly felt like I was wiping my daughters bottom with dry cloth. These wash cloths however don't retain a ton of the baby wipe solution, are nice and soft and are just the right size. I was worried that they might seem a bit crusty after they came out of the dryer the first time but sure enough they softened right up as soon as I stuck them into my Wipes warmer (...)
I made my own baby wipe solution using the following recipe
3 cups water
2 tsp Baby wash (...)
1/8th tsp Nipple nurture butter (...)
2 tsp Vegetable glycerin (...)
I filled a 1 Quart canning jar with hot water, added the remaining ingredients and gave a quick shake to mix. Now I just keep it on the changing table and can simply poor in a little every time I refill my warmer with... Read more

The prints are cute but the 80/20 cotton to poly ratio means that these washcloths are thin and not absorbent. I bought this item with the matching pack of 3 hooded towels; similarly unimpressed with that item. Disappointing after reading the great reviews on other Spasilk products.
